Southeast Iowa Election Results – 11/03/20

The unofficial final results show an incredibly close outcome for the region’s congressional seat. A state senator lost his re-election race, and a former state senator lost in his bid to return to office. More Iowa election results can be found here.

2nd DISTRICT CONGRESS

Mariannette Miller-Meeks (R) 50.04% (196,769 votes)

Rita Hart (D) 49.96% (196,487 votes)

A statement from the Hart campaign said, "Ballots are outstanding and over the coming days we will ensure that Iowans' voices are heard and that remaining votes are counted."
