Hawaiian Woman Complains Her Long Name Was Cut Off On IDs
Janice Lokelani Keihanaikukauakahihuliheekahaunaele, who goes by Loke, complained to a Honolulu radio station that since her name was so long, it was always cut off on IDs. That led to issues with travel and police. Officials in Hawaii say the state is expanding the character limit of names on IDs.

Texas Voter ID Law Now In Hands Of Three-Judge Panel
The judges are expected to make a decision by late August, and a lot of people outside Texas are interested in the outcome. A number of states have passed voter ID laws, and several await Justice Department "preclearance." If Texas loses, it will almost certainly appeal to the Supreme Court.

In a unanimous vote, the 5th Circuit ruled that the law, considered one of the toughest in the country, discriminated against minority voters.
Georgia residents are asked to wear clothes for official digital ID photos
Georgians can use a digital driver's license and an ID on their phones to get through airport security. The Department of Driver Services used social media to remind people to stay "classy."
