Apple Loses E-Book Price Fixing Case
A federal judge has decided against Apple in the e-books price fixing case. Apple was the only remaining party in the case brought by the Department of Justice that originally included five major publishers. Those publishers had previously settled.

After just three days of deliberations, a jury reached a verdict in the high-stakes trial between Apple and Samsung over patent infringement. The federal jury found that Samsung infringed on several of Apple's patents, and it awarded Apple more than $1 billion in damages.

Apple Files Patent Suit Against Samsung In Germany
It's the latest salvo in the two companies' global patent war, according to Bloomberg News. This time Apple is trying to ban sales of 10 Samsung smartphone models, claiming the Korean company copied Apple's design. It's also suing Samsung claiming it copied the iPad.
