Monday December 19:
9:00 a.m. – A Chanukah Celebration with Chicago a capella: An inspiring and informative show, featuring music set to Chanukah texts, that provides a unique look inside old and new choral Chanukah traditions.

10:00 a.m. – Festivo AltLatino with Cantigas: A special concert including stories about holiday traditions, featuring the 30-piece choral ensemble Choral Cantigas and music from Peru, Brazil, Spain, Mexico, Venezuela and Puerto Rico. Hosted by Felix Contreras.

11:00 a.m. – A Mexican Christmas with Newberry Consort & EnsAmble Ad-Hoc: Two great musical ensembles get together, as jubilant vocals and lively strings, guitars, and percussion evoke the solemnity and fanfare heard in Mexico City’s convents and plazas.

Tuesday December 20:
9:00 a.m. – A Choral Christmas with Stile Antico: The award-winning choir from London pays a visit to St. Paul’s Church on Cambridge, MA’s Harvard Square to sing seasonal music of the renaissance.

10:00 a.m. – Music of the Baroque presents o Magnum Mysterium: The Brass & Choral Holiday Concert: Drawn from diverse cultures and various points in history, conductor Andrew Megill has assembled a program inspired by an ancient chant sung at Christmas midnight in the medieval church.

Wednesday December 21:
9:00 a.m. – Christmas with the Morehouse & Spelman Glee Clubs: The choirs of two of the most prestigious historically black institutions in the nation get together. This year's program features the best works of the last several years.

10:00 a.m. – A Soulful Christmas: Julie Amacher and Tesfa Wondemagegnehu host this uplifting Christmas special that features Black music and composers.

11:00 a.m. – The Ballad of the Brown King and other Christmas Music by Black Composers: Dr. Louise Toppin presents premiere recordings, including Margaret Bonds’s The Ballad of the Brown King, a Christmas cantata with a libretto by Langston Hughes, focusing on Balthazar --- the dark-skinned king who journeyed to Bethlehem.

Thursday December 22:
9:00 am - Welcome Christmas: The perennial Christmas favorite from VocalEssence, one of the world’s premiere choral groups. An hour of traditional carols and new discoveries.

10:00 a.m. – All Is Bright: One hour of gorgeous, contemplative music related to the Christmas season and its symbolism. Hosted by Lynne Warfel.

11:00 a.m. – A Chanticleer Christmas: Holiday favorites, new and old, presented live in concert by the superb 12-man ensemble known as ‘an orchestra of voices.’

Friday December 23:
9:00 a.m. – Winter Holidays Around the World: Bill McLaughlin’s spirited selections takes you on a personal tour, including medieval Italian music, jazz, selections by Vaughan Williams and Debussy, a Polynesian hymn, and an excerpt from Gian Carlo Menotti’s Amahl and the Night Visitors from the original television production.

10:00 a.m. – St. Olaf Christmas Festival: A service in song and word that has become a holiday tradition. Hymns, carols, choral works and orchestral selections featuring more than 500 student musicians in five choirs, and the St. Olaf College Orchestra.

7:00 p.m. – Christmas On the Air: In the spirit of The Lone RangerOur Miss BrooksMy Favorite Husband… and Lux Radio Theater…it’s Christmas On the Air from the Orpheum Theater in downtown Galesburg! It’s an original live-acted holiday play in the style of radio’s Golden Age. Presented by members of Playhouse on the Air, it’s complete with comedy, drama, music… and sound effects, of course. Gather ‘round YOUR home radio Friday night!

Sunday December 25:
3:00 p.m. – Christmas On the Air: catch a repeat broadcast of the old-time-radio-style holiday play.
