A lack of revenue and failure to manage expenses has led to the demise of Buzzfeed News.
Buzzfeed News was respected in the world of journalism, and won numerous awards through the years, including a Pulitzer Prize.
The company’s CEO accepted a large part of the blame for the shutdown of Buzzfeed News, which reportedly had around 60 staffers. Buzzfeed’s news division also includes HuffPost, which it acquired a few years ago.
