Macomb Middle School

Kibbee Lewis will be taking over a middle school that opened less than a year ago, so she will be in a position to create a vision for it.

The district held a grand opening event on Thursday for Macomb Middle School.

The district plans to hold an open house in July, and classes in the new building will begin in August.

The conversations are in their early stages and have included several potential partners.

The new middle school is being built just south of the current junior-senior high school.
