Second arrest in shooting death of Galesburg teen

Another person is in custody on murder charges in the fatal shooting of Cam’ron Glass, 18.

The Galesburg Police Department, the Knox County Sheriff’s Office, and the U.S. Marshals Service took Gabriel Moore, 19, into custody Thursday at an apartment in the 300 block of East Davis Street.

He’s charged with murder and aggravated discharge of a firearm. 

Police responded to a residence in the 900 block of East South Street on June 7 following a report of shots fired. They found Glass dead at the scene.

Also charged with murder is Chase Houlden, Jr. He was arrested June 19 and remains in custody at the Knox County jail.
