There was no threat made by a Macomb student who had ammunition on school property, according to the police department school district.
Police said the student also had two revolver handguns in his car, which was not on school grounds but was parked within one-thousand feet of school property.
The student is charged with two counts of aggravated unlawful possession of a firearm within one-thousand feet of a school and unlawful possession of ammunition.
Police said the student was cooperative throughout the investigation into the matter, which happened on Friday, March 7.
The student was released to the custody of his parent.
