The Macomb Police Department is investigating a homicide in the 600 block of North Randolph Street.
Police were called to the scene on Sunday night.
The department says it's confident there is no threat to the community.
UPDATED ON MONDAY AFTERNOON:
McDonough County Coroner Eric Jameson said the person who died is a 21-year old male.
An autopsy is scheduled for Tuesday at the Sangamon County coroner's office in Springfield.
