A Galesburg woman has been arrested in connection with a November crash on South Lake Storey Road that killed 72-year-old Marte Glass.

Ashley England, 32, was arrested Dec. 23 by Illinois State Police in Peoria on a Knox County warrant. She is charged with aggravated DUI, reckless homicide, and possession of meth.

England and Marte were the drivers and sole occupants of two vehicles that collided on the morning of Nov. 22 in the 1300 block of South Lake Storey Road.

Both drivers were taken by ambulance to OSF St. Mary Medical Center in Galesburg and later flown to OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria with severe injuries.

Glass died Nov. 30 from injuries sustained in the crash.

England is in custody at the Knox County jail.

The crash remains under investigation.
