Republican voters chose newcomer Joshua Higgins to be their nominee in Illinois House District 94. Higgins ousted longtime State Representative Norine Hammond. He will run unopposed in the November election.
Also Tuesday, Republicans in McDonough County voted for a change in the sheriff’s office, and Republican voters in Warren County made their choice from among four candidates for sheriff.
