OSF HealthCare has announced that Zach Yoder will serve as president of three hospitals in western Illinois.

Effective Sunday, March 29, Yoder will become president of St. Mary Medical Center in Galesburg, Holay Family Medical Center in Monmouth, and Saint Luke Medical Center in Kewanee.

The three hospitals are part of Peoria-based OSF HealthCare’s Western Region.

Yoder has been serving as interim president of the Galesburg and Monmouth hospitals for the last few months, following the departure of Lisa DeKezel late last year.

Prior to that, Yoder was the president of OSF Saint Anthony Health Center in Alton. Under his leadership there, the hospital improved his CMS Star Rating from 2 to 3 starts, earned multiple Leapfrog Safety Grade A ratings, and secured its first-ever MAGNET accreditation with distinction.

Yoder has a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing from Southern Illinois University and a Master of Health Administration degree from Webster University in St. Louis. He also earned a Master of Healthcare Operational Excellence degree from Washington University in St. Louis.
