Available storefronts and office suites across downtown Burlington will be showcased to entrepreneurs and investors during an open house aimed at filling empty commercial spaces and attracting new business.

The open house will be from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 25, and is hosted by Downtown Partners Inc.

It will feature properties suited for retail, restaurant, office, and other business concepts, including:

  • 116 N. Fifth St., suites B and C
  • 604 Jefferson St., Suite 102
  • 218 Jefferson St., Suite 1D
  • 214 N. Fourth St. and 315 Jefferson St. in the Peterson Building:
  • 713 Jefferson St., suites 100 and 108
  • 320 N. Third St., Suite 500

Both leasing and purchase opportunities will be available at select locations.

Organizers say the open house is intended to connect prospective tenants and buyers with available downtown spaces for startups, relocations, and expansions.

“Downtown Burlington is not empty, it is full of opportunity,” the Downtown Partners’ Economic Vitality Committee said in a release. “This open house allows potential tenants and buyers to see what is available, connect with property representatives, and begin to imagine what their business could look like in the heart of our community.”
