Three people were killed in a two-vehicle accident near Kirkwood in Warren County on Saturday night.
Three other people were taken from the scene by helicopter for treatment of injuries at a regional hospital.
The crash happened around 10:30 p.m. on U.S. Route 34 north of 160th Avenue.
Both vehicles were passenger vehicles.
The roadway was closed for several hours, reopening at 3:19 a.m. Sunday, according to state police.
No additional details have been released at this time.
