Four students and a bus driver were injured Friday afternoon when a Keokuk Community School District bus crashed near the end of its route.
The Lee County Sheriff’s Office said it responded to the crash in the 3500 block of Argyle Road at around 1:53 p.m.
The four students and bus driver were the only occupants of the bus. All were transported from the scene for medical evaluation and treatment.
Family members of all involved in the crash have been contacted, according to the sheriff’s office.
The Iowa State Patrol is investigating.
