The West Prairie School District has agreed to sell its former high school building on Route 9 in Sciota.
Superintendent Curt Rheingans said the district received four sealed bids for the building.
The top offer of $42,000 came from Monte Lowderman and Chris Trotter.
Lowderman is an auctioneer and marketer at Lowderman Auction and Real Estate Company. Trotter is with Trotter General Contracting.
Rheingans said the closing date is scheduled for Nov. 23.
The building served as Northwestern High School before the former Northwestern and Colchester school districts consolidated and became West Prairie in 2003.
The district shuttered the building after renovating its former middle school in Colchester and reopening it as junior-senior high school in 2023.
