Knox County Clerk and Recorder Scott Erickson and Treasurer Robin Davis held onto their seats Tuesday, defeating challengers in their bids for reelection.

Erickson, a Republican, was appointed county clerk in 2004 and has been elected to the seat six times now.

Erickson face faced Democrat Johan Henrikson, winning 62% of the vote.

“I am very happy that the voters of Knox County chose to reelect me for another term,” Erickson told TSPR. “I will continue to work hard for the citizens of Knox County to make it a better place for everyone.”

Davis, a Democrat, won a seventh term. She won 54% of the vote against Republican challenger Jerrie Ann Walters.

“I just want to thank the voters for their continued support. I am so beyond grateful for the continued trust in protecting your tax dollars,” Davis said. “Thank you from the bottom of my heart.”

Sheriff Jack Harlan Jr. ran unopposed.
