Schiller Seeking Re-Election

Chairman Ernie Schiller wants to remain on the Lee County Board of Supervisors for four more years.

The Democrat from rural Donnellson has announced that he is seeking re-election in District 3, which includes western Fort Madison and five rural townships.

Schiller says the last seven years on the board have been very rewarding, adding that he is so happy with the changes and updates made during his tenure.

He has worked closely with RUSS, the Lee County Conservation Board, and Children First.

Schiller is the lone candidate to return the paperwork to run in District 3, but the deadline to file is Wednesday, March 26.
