Illinois State Police said Myron Beeler, 68, of Warsaw was pronounced dead at the scene on Warsaw Road. The crash happened shortly after 4:00 a.m. Monday.
State Police said Beeler was a passenger in the car driven by Joseph Krumey, 29, also of Warsaw.
State Police said Krumey lost control of the vehicle on a curve. The car left the road, struck a ditch with a rock ledge, and overturned.
Krumey suffered minor injuries.
He is charged with Reckless Homicide, Aggravated DUI, and Leaving the Scene of a Fatal Crash.
