Galesburg police are looking for a man wanted on attempted murder charges following a shooting Monday.
Police have issued a warrant for John S. Thurman, 31, in connection with the shooting, after executing a search warrant at a home in the 100 block of Blaine Avenue.
The victim, Destin G. Sundberg, 18, of Galesburg is being treated for a single gunshot wound to the stomach.
Sundberg was found around 5 a.m. Monday in the yard of the home, screaming he had been shot.
