An investigation into former Western Illinois University President Jack Thomas’ conduct in his current position found he did not engage in discrimination or harassment.
The Dayton Daily News reported, however, that the investigation found his conduct could be characterized as rude, belittling, and bullying.
Thomas is now president of Central State University, a Historically Black College in Ohio.
The complaint was filed against him last year by five current and former employees of the school. All five are Black women.
The Dayton Daily News obtained the report from the university after filing a request under Ohio’s public records law.
The paper reported that Thomas has agreed to undergo executive leadership and effective communication coaching.
