Authorities are investigating the death of a Rushville woman.
Rushville police were called to the 300 block of North Jackson Street on Monday night, July 31. They found Sarah Demaree, 39, suffering from a medical emergency.
Investigators are not saying what type of emergency she was experiencing.
Demaree was flown to a regional hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
An autopsy was conducted Tuesday, August 1. Results are pending the outcome of toxicology testing.
Investigators from the Illinois State Police Division of Criminal Investigation and Division of Forensic Services are conducting the investigation.
