Keokuk, IA – Several projects at Keokuk High School have been placed at the top of the district's facilities improvement priority list.
They include renovations to the Wright Fieldhouse weight room, a study of the heating, air conditioning, and electrical systems, and an assessment of the industrial technology program.
Assistant School Superintendent Dr. Lora Wolff says each of these issues could be addressed in the next 12 to 18 months.
She says studying the traffic flow at Hawthorne Elementary is the district's other Top 5 priority.
Safety, cost, potential savings, and community benefit were all considered by the school board and the district's administrators in the ranking of the facility priorities.
