Acclaimed singer-songwriter and guitarist Dyer Davis will bring his electrifying blend of Southern blues and rock to Ca d’Zan House Concerts in Cambridge on Thursday, July 16. Presented by Crossroads Cultural Connections, the all-ages concert will begin at 7 p.m., following an optional community potluck dinner at 6 p.m.

Known for his powerful voice, fiery guitar playing and commanding live performances, Davis draws inspiration from the rich traditions of Southern blues rock while bringing a fresh energy and emotional intensity to the genre.

His debut album, Dog Bites Back, entered the Billboard Blues Albums chart at No. 6 and quickly established Davis as one of blues rock’s most promising emerging artists. DownBeat praised his ability to bring a renewed sense of immediacy to the music, highlighting the deeply personal conviction behind his vocals and placing him among the genre’s leading young up-and-coming performers.

Davis followed his successful debut with his second album, Kiss the Ring, released in June 2025 through Valley Rose and Big Wing Records. The album further showcases his ability to combine soulful songwriting, expressive vocals and hard-driving guitar work into a sound that honors blues-rock tradition while remaining distinctly his own.

Guests are invited to arrive at 6 p.m. for the optional potluck dinner and may bring a dish to share. The concert will begin at 7 p.m. Attendees should bring lawn chairs or blankets for seating. A donation of $20 to $30 is suggested, and music lovers of all ages are welcome.

Presented by Crossroads Cultural Connections, this concert continues the organization’s mission of bringing meaningful, high-quality live music experiences to Henry County and surrounding communities.
