The 2025 Burlington Municipal Band begins it 98th season Sunday, June 1st at the Crapo Park Bandshell in Burlington Iowa. This outdoor concert series consists of ten free, live, family friendly concerts from June to early August. Bring your lawn chair and enjoy!

The Hub is hosting a Drum Circle! Join us for an evening of healing through music led by Nikki Stevenson, no previous experience required! We have a limited number of instruments available, and if needed we will incorporate hand percussion and instrument rotation so everyone is included.*Please note that children under 7th grade must be accompanied by an adult.*This is a bonus event included in our Create & Connect series focusing on the Mental Health benefits of creating and community.

Dust off your Ukulele! Christina Hardy is bringing back The Hub’s Ukulele Club. All experience levels are welcome, and no prior knowledge is required! We’ll be learning some basics and then start playing some tunes together. This group is free, you just need a Ukulele to join us.The initial meeting will take place Friday June 6th from 6 - 7 p.m. at The Hub. At the meeting we will discuss practice schedule and structure. Our goal is to meet each Friday(with some exceptions) beginning in June until Night Market, August 16th, 2025, when we will give a short performance together.

In an intimate fireside chat, Grammer brings his signature wit and charm to the stage while celebrating memories of his fellow actor John Mahoney who played his father Martin Crane in the series, Frasier. The late Mahoney has family and college ties in the region served by The Legacy Theater. Whether talking about achieving his dreams or providing a behind the scenes look at some of his beloved roles, Kelsey Grammer is sure to entertain. He has excelled at the highest levels in theatre, television, and film as an actor, producer and director. Grammer has won six Emmys, three Golden Globes, a SAG Award and a Tony Award amongst an overabundance of nominations in all of these same award categories.An initial role as Dr. Frasier Crane on Cheers developed into the cornerstone of the Juilliard-trained actor’s career. Grammer played the celebrated character in three different television series (Cheers, Wings and Frasier) over a span of 20 years, tying the record for longest-running television character. Currently, Grammer can be seen in Paramount+’s long awaited, critically acclaimed Frasier, which marks the third act of the beloved character Dr. Frasier Crane; which premiered fall 2023. This event is presented in memory of John Mahoney and sister Rita Mahoney Sullivan with generous support provided by Dan and Kacey Sullivan.
