The Peace Drum Circle, sponsored by the Shared Community Action Group, is intended to bring area residents and visitors together in an informal, no-pressure activity that can be enjoyed by the community as a whole. Facilitators, led by Michael Thompson, will share a variety of percussion instruments with participants, but those who have an instrument are invited to bring theirs. No special skill is required but humor and openness are welcome.
NOTE: There will be no Peace Drum Circle on Thursday, June 23, as Heritage Days gets underway.
