West Burlington, Iowa, September 29, 2025 – Great River Health is proud to
announce the return of its Second Annual Night of Dreams Gala, set for Saturday,
November 1, 2025, at the Catfish Bend Event Center. This signature fundraising event
invites community members to an evening of elegance and purpose, with proceeds
directly supporting transformational programs that touch the lives of families throughout
Southeast Iowa.
This year’s Gala promises to be an unforgettable experience, with tickets available now
through October 16. VIP guests will enjoy exclusive seating with cocktail service and
champagne awaiting them at their tables upon arrival. The Gala will once again put local
artists in the spotlight with their performance talents.
“Night of Dreams is more than a fundraiser—it’s a reflection of the lives we touch every
day, the challenges we help overcome, and the hope we carry into every patient room,
every waiting area, and every milestone moment,” said Jason Hutcheson, Vice
President- Great River Health Foundation. “This night celebrates the journey of our
patients and families, and the community that rallies behind them.”
A Year of Impact
Since the inaugural Gala, Great River Health has expanded support for cancer patients
and caregivers, increased access to transportation for those facing barriers to care, and
helped hospice families capture meaningful moments. In 2026, the health system will
implement Epic, a cutting-edge electronic medical record system that will empower
patients with greater control and connectivity to their healthcare experience.

Investing in the Future
Gala attendees will have the opportunity to support key patient-care projects during the
event’s live auction. Last year’s event raised over $60,000, with a successful live
auction supporting hospital initiatives, specifically benefiting a hospice family, hospital
auxiliary healthcare scholarships, and the Foundation’s Patient Assistance and Cancer
Care Funds.
