WEST BURLINGTON, Iowa — The annual Southeastern Community College Foundation (SCCF) Great Tastes event is scheduled for Friday, November 7, at the Catfish Bend Convention & Event Center in Burlington.

Check-in begins at 5:30 p.m. with the event starting at 6 p.m.

Guests can sip and sample an impressive selection of beer, wine, and spirits from local and regional makers, alongside a generous assortment of savory bites and sweet treats.

The evening also includes a silent auction filled with one-of-a-kind items and themed gift baskets, followed by a high-energy live auction to close out the night. Featured packages this year include gourmet dinners, festive fall and holiday decor, exciting getaways, unique experiences, and even a trip to Greece.

“Great Tastes is one of those special nights where everything we care about comes together: community, generosity, and opportunity,” says Val Giannettino, Executive Director for Institutional Advancement.

“When people gather to support education, they’re not just helping students get through school. They’re opening doors, building confidence, and investing in a better future for all of us.”

Net proceeds support SCC Foundation Board scholarships, instructional program mini-grants, and SCC initiatives.

Individual tickets are $50 each in advance or $60 at the door. Sponsor tables for eight are available for $500.
