Joe Donnelly Brings High-Energy Rock & Storytelling to Bishop Hill

Bishop Hill, Illinois — Crossroads Cultural Connections invites the community to an evening of live music and connection with touring musician Joe Donnelly on Sunday, March 15 at Bishop Hill Creative Commons.

The evening will begin at 6:00 PM with an optional potluck dinner, offering guests the chance to gather and share food before the performance. Attendees who wish to participate are encouraged to bring a dish to share, though it is not required. The concert will begin at 7:00 PM.

Donnelly is a passionate musician, performer, and storyteller whose career has been shaped by life on the road and the pursuit of authentic rock ’n’ roll. As the driving force behind the band Gallivant, he has toured nationwide and shared stages with legendary acts including Head East, Foreigner, and Alien Ant Farm. His music blends soulful vocals, powerful musicianship, and compelling storytelling drawn from his experiences as a touring artist.

His latest release with Gallivant, Life As It Goes, was recorded with producer Kent Hertz at EastWest Studios in Hollywood and showcases Donnelly’s dedication to timeless rock music.

Presented by Crossroads Cultural Connections, the event continues the organization’s mission of bringing exceptional live music and cultural experiences to the region.

The concert is open to all ages, and a suggested donation of $20–$30 will help support the artist and ongoing programming at Bishop Hill Creative Commons.
