Country music singer/songwriter Jennie Tolman will take the stage at The Legacy Theater at 7
p.m. on Saturday, May 16.
A native of Nashville, Tolman’s songs engage audiences with her casual style and storytelling
lyrics. Her music blends humor, honesty, and heart, and often carries a message of positivity
and gratitude.
Last fall, she competed on the CBS/Paramount+ show, The Road, produced by Blake Shelton
and Taylor Sheridan. The show follows 12 hand-selected contestants as they compete for the
top spot, while touring and opening for country superstar, Keith Urban.
Tolman is a Billboard artist and nationally-recognized country performer. With two acclaimed
albums, she is known as one of country music’s most original voices. Fans see themselves in
the colorful characters she brings to life.
Tolman was playing piano by ear at three years old. On her 16th birthday, a gift of a guitar set
her on a different musical path. By 2019, she released her debut album, “There Goes the
Neighborhood,” a clever and unfiltered portrait of small-town life praised for its humor and
honesty.
Her 2022 follow-up, “Married in a Honky Tonk,” sealed her status as a chronicler of modern
womanhood. Now in a new era, Tolman is expanding her world, Jennyville, even further,
balancing her life as an artist and mother while staying true to the playful energy fans love.
