The Macomb High School Marching Bomber Band will hold its annual March-a-thon on Saturday, August 23, from 9:30 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. The drumline and color guard will perform short marching demonstrations in Hidden Hills, Compton Park, and South of the Square.

Band members and parent volunteers will collect donations door-to-door during the performances. The neighborhood donating the most money will win a full parade performance by the entire band and color guard on Saturday, September 6, at 3:30 p.m. Proceeds will help purchase new percussion instruments.

Following the winning neighborhood parade, the band will present a free concert at 4:45pm on the McDonough County Courthouse lawn, as a thank-you for the community’s continued support.

Ways to Donate:
In person: Residents of the three neighborhoods can leave an envelope taped to their front door for pickup on Aug. 23.
