The city of Keokuk is inviting you to experience Oktoberfest! It is the world's largest beer festival and funfair, held annually in Munich, Germany, from mid-September to early October. It attracts millions of visitors for traditional Bavarian food, music, carnival rides, and, of course, beer served in large tents by Munich's historic breweries. The festival originated in 1810 as a royal wedding celebration for Crown Prince Ludwig and Princess Therese.
