Rising Midwest Artist Colt Ball to Perform at Bishop Hill Creative Commons

BISHOP HILL, Illinois—Crossroads Cultural Connections is excited to present an evening of live music with rising Midwest artist Colt Ball on Sunday, March 29 at Bishop Hill Creative Commons.

The evening will begin at 6:00 PM with an optional potluck dinner, giving guests a chance to gather and connect before the show. Attendees are welcome to bring a dish to share if they wish to participate. The concert will begin at 7:00 PM.

A native of Illinois, Colt Ball has been steadily building a name for himself with his authentic songwriting and dynamic live performances. After spending over a decade honing his craft, he made the leap to full-time music in 2021—and has shown remarkable growth ever since.

Within his first year on the road, Colt performed at the Enterprise Center in St. Louis for a sold-out Blues hockey game, an experience that helped propel his career to new heights. Since then, he has shared stages with notable acts including Keller Williams, Marbin, Wookiefoot, Aaron Kamm & The One Drops, String Cheese Incident, and Mike Love.

Colt’s music blends elements of rock, blues, and soul, delivered with an energy and sincerity that resonates deeply with audiences. He has been featured on numerous radio stations and podcasts, as well as a streaming network show out West, and continues to expand his reach across the Midwest and beyond.

In 2022, he recorded an EP with Cas Haley at Big Hope Studio in Paris, Texas. Today, Colt regularly performs across multiple states and appears on festival lineups throughout the region, connecting with audiences through both his musicianship and storytelling.

The event is open to all ages, with a suggested donation of $20–$30, 100% of which goes directly to the performers.
