Sibling Indie-Folk-Rock Band Dawson Hollow to Perform at Bishop Hill Creative Commons
BISHOP HILL, Illinois—Crossroads Cultural Connections is excited to present an evening of uplifting, harmony-driven live music with Dawson Hollow on Friday, April 17 at Bishop Hill Creative Commons.
The evening will begin at 6:00 PM with an optional potluck dinner, offering guests a chance to gather and connect before the performance. Attendees are welcome to bring a dish to share if they wish to participate. The concert will begin at 7:00 PM.
Formed in 2016, Dawson Hollow is an American indie-folk-rock band made up of five siblings who have been writing, performing, and touring together for over two decades. Based in the Ozark Mountains of Missouri, the group has built a dedicated following through their high-energy performances, heartfelt songwriting, and unmistakable five-part blood harmonies.
Their sound blends the cinematic sweep of modern pop with the nostalgic textures of Americana, creating music that feels both expansive and deeply rooted. With lyrics that carry a hopeful and uplifting tone, Dawson Hollow’s songs connect with audiences on both an emotional and personal level.
The band has collectively performed more than 3,000 live shows, bringing their music to audiences across the country, and has amassed millions of streams on Spotify. Their growing presence has also led to features such as contributing music to The Chosen’s 2021 Christmas special.
Dawson Hollow continues to evolve creatively, recently releasing their third full-length album, Pixelated Haze, further showcasing their dynamic songwriting and signature harmonies.
Presented by Crossroads Cultural Connections, this concert continues the organization’s mission of bringing high-quality live music and meaningful cultural experiences to Henry County and surrounding communities.
The event is open to all ages, with a suggested donation of $20–$30, 100% of which goes directly to the performers, supporting artists and sustaining live music.
