The Western Illinois University Summer Percussion Orchestra will present a free concert at 2 p.m. Sunday, July 12, in the College of Fine Arts and Communication (COFAC) Recital Hall.
In its third year of existence,  the ensemble has 30 alumni and current students. The stage will be filled to the brim with orchestral, world, marching, and jazz percussion instruments. The dynamic program includes works from movies, video games, jazz, and pop genres.

Featured composers include Charles Gounod, John Lennon, Dave Samuels, and Mike Locke.
