MACOMB, IL – The WIU Summer Percussion Orchestra will present a free concert on Sunday, July 12, in the CoFAC Recital Hall. In its third year, the ensemble is comprised of 30 alumni and current students. The stage will be filled to the brim with orchestral, world, marching, and jazz percussion instruments. This dynamic program includes works from movies, video games, jazz, and pop genres. Featured composers include Charles Gounod, John Lennon, Dave Samuels, and Miles Locke. Performance starts at 2 pm.
