Galesburg Railroad Days welcomes The Highwaymen Show – American
Outlaw Tribute to The Orpheum Theatre stage during the annual festival on Saturday, June 24th , at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are on sale online and through The Orpheum Theatre box office for $30.00.

The Highwaymen Show pays tribute to four of country music’s biggest legends: Willie
Nelson, Johnny Cash, Waylon Jennings, and Kris Kristofferson. Together, these iconic
superstars pioneered the outlaw country subgenre. Lovers of ‘classic country’ will delight in all the greatest hits, including Highwayman, Mama Don't Let Your Babies Grow up to be Cowboys, Always on My Mind, Me and Bobby McGee, and more. See why this nationally acclaimed show is captivating audiences and generating rave reviews from fans at fairs, festivals, performing arts centers, and casinos across the U.S. and Canada.

The original Highwaymen group was born in 1984 when Johnny Cash invited Willie Nelson, Waylon Jennings, and Kris Kristofferson to play on his Johnny Cash Christmas TV Special. When they returned to their hotel, the four started jamming, and the rest is history. Between 1985 and 1995, The Highwaymen recorded three major label albums, two on Columbia Records and one for Liberty Records. Their Columbia works produced three chart singles, including the number one "Highwayman" in 1985.

The Highwaymen Show was created by Alabama native, Gray Sartin, who has been
professionally performing for 21 years. The show features Sartin as Johnny Cash, North Carolina native Greg Bauman as Kris Kristofferson, Georgia native Tyson Halford as Willie Nelson, and Tennessee native Stefan Superti as Waylon Jennings. Since its inception, The Highwaymen Show has performed at fairs, festivals, performing arts centers, and casinos across North American and in Canada.

This immersive performance takes place during the 45 th annual Galesburg Railroad Days festival on Saturday, June 24 th , at 7:30 p.m. at The Orpheum Theatre, 57 S. Galesburg Railroad Days is coordinated by a committee of local volunteers who organize a long weekend of fun, family-friendly activities to celebrate the community's rich ties to railroading.
