The ensemble is comprised of professional musicians and teachers from IL, IA, NY, WI, and PA with a vision to provide performances, educational experiences, and workshops that promote and model vocal versatility and exploration. Each concert features diverse voice qualities and commissioned works that represent a wide array of composers and styles of music. withonevoice strongly believes in “access to the arts for all” and leads annual educational workshops, using the Estill Voice model, across the US to help everyone find their voice.
The ensemble will present its summer season concert, Hold Fast, on July 23 in the COFAC Recital Hall at WIU at 7:30 PM and again on July 25 at the Baker Memorial United Methodist Church in St. Charles, IL at 7:30 PM. These performances will feature multiple world premieres by Illinois composers Alex Berko and Ryan Korell and Arizona composer MaryAnne Muglia.
