BISHOP HILL, Illinois—Crossroads Cultural Connections is proud to present an evening with internationally acclaimed pianist Radoslav Lorković at Bishop Hill Creative Commons on Sunday, November 9. The evening begins with an optional community potluck dinner at 6 p.m. (bring a dish to share if you’d like to join), followed by the concert at 7 p.m. This all-ages event invites attendees to contribute a suggested donation of $20–30 to support the artist and the ongoing music series.

Born in Zagreb, Croatia, and raised in the United States, Radoslav Lorković brings a rare and dynamic fusion of musical traditions to the stage. Drawing from classical, jazz, blues, country, and soul, Lorković’s performances are a masterclass in versatility and emotional depth. His rich career has included collaborations with some of the most respected names in folk and roots music — including Odetta, Jimmy LaFave, Greg Brown, Ellis Paul, and Richard Shindell — as well as appearances at prestigious venues such as Carnegie Hall and The Kennedy Center.

Over a three-decade touring career, Lorković has taken his distinctive piano and accordion stylings from the taverns of the Mississippi River to castles in Italy and villages in Alaska, earning acclaim for his passionate musicianship and cross-cultural storytelling.
