GALESBURG, IL – The Historic Orpheum Theatre is thrilled to formally announce its highly anticipated 2026-2027 Orpheum Theatre Presents season. Slated to be an unforgettable year of world-class entertainment, the upcoming season features a powerhouse lineup of legendary rock anthems, laugh-out-loud comedy, jaw-dropping magic, and family-friendly fun. Anchoring this spectacular season is the premiere Red Carpet Series presented by The City of Galesburg, bringing top-tier national touring acts directly to the heart of regional audiences."We are incredibly excited to welcome audiences back to the Historic Orpheum for a new Orpheum Theatre Presents season that truly offers something for everyone," said the Orpheum Theatre Executive Director, Andrew Driscoll. The Office of Marketing and Downtown Development is excited to announce the upcoming dates for the 23rd Annual Park N’ Cruise. This season will feature classic cars, live music, and great food while celebrating local and national pride during America 250 and the McDonough County Bicentennial.
Kicking off on Friday, May 1, 2026, Park N’ Cruise will surround Chandler Park to offer a lively gathering place filled with unique rides and hometown pride. The season opener will feature entertainment by M&S Light and Sound from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., setting the tone for a summer-long community celebration. This season’s dates and entertainment are as follows:

Park N’ Cruise remains a free event, open to all ages, making it a perfect outing for families, car enthusiasts, and anyone looking to enjoy a summer evening downtown. Guests can also enjoy food from the Knights of Columbus while taking in the sights and sounds of Historic Downtown Macomb. This year’s celebration will incorporate patriotic elements throughout the season, recognizing the spirit of America 250 and honoring the local traditions that bring our community together.

The Farmer’s Market is a true grower’s market. Products that are allowed for sale are directly grown, baked, or produced by the person who is setting up at the market. The market generally features for purchase fresh vegetables and fruits, meat, baked goods, flowers and plants, pumpkins, gourds, and more! Visitors can also enjoy live music on select Saturdays and free coffee at every market!
