BCA's Annual Christmas Market is always held the first Saturday in December and features over 65 vendors in our all-indoor market, providing a fun atmosphere for holiday gift shopping.
The BCA Annual Christmas Market is one of the largest annual fundraisers for Beardstown Christian Academy to help support school operations and activities.

Join the site naturalist as we explore the trails of the park in search of the many wonders of winter just waiting to be discovered. Hike topics may include how animals survive in winter, identifying tracks and other wildlife signs, winter tree ID, and the mysteries of snow and snowflakes.
Hike will begin at 1:30 pm at the visitor center

The Fall 2026 season will take place in the new Goldfarb Center for Performing Arts, with performances in the Clow Theatre and Hainline Theatre, in Brown Hall.

Reuniting stars from the original cast of the Broadway smash hit Jersey Boys, ring in the Christmas season this year with the iconic Yuletide classics and signature renditions of the greatest rock and roll hits of the 1960's by the Beatles, The Temptations, The Four Seasons, and more! 

With smooth harmonies, a dazzling stage presence, and the joyful spirit of the holidays, this show blends nostalgic rock n' roll with cheer to celebrate the season. 

Nova Singers, led by award-winning conductor Dr. Laura Lane, is thrilled to announce their 2026-27 concert season.  In its 41st season of bringing the finest choral music to audiences in Galesburg and the Quad Cities, Nova continues to push the envelope regarding innovative programming. The season opens on October 10th and 11th with Music of South Africa, featuring guest conductor Dr. Michael Barrett from the University of Pretoria, South Africa.  December’s concert, A Nova Christmas, celebrates the holiday season with favorite carols and other songs of the season.  In April 2027, Nova Singers will present So Breaks the Sun, a concert about hope and light.

The Mount Sterling Farmers Market began in 2017 as a grassroots effort led by community members with the goal of promoting local food access, small businesses, and community gathering, laying the foundation for the market we know today.
