The Western Illinois Museum (WIM) announces the launch of its Youth Advisory Council, a new initiative inviting young people ages 16 to 24 to help shape how the museum documents, presents, and preserves history for the next generation. An informational meeting will be held at the museum on Saturday, September 12, at 11:00. A pizza lunch will be served.

Robin weaves storytelling and environmental knowledge throughout this poetic read. We will discuss lessons from the book as well as expand on scientific concepts such as prairies. There will be assigned reading sections for each meeting. You are invited to attend all or just a few lessons.
