The Macomb Farmers Market is dedicated to providing an opportunity for local farmers, food producers, artisans and crafters to sell directly to the consumer in a venue that builds community and supports the development of entrepreneurs.
The Macomb Farmer market is in Chandler Park and Downtown Macomb IL every Saturday (starting from May 3rd to October 18th) and Thursdays (Starting May 29 to October 16th.

The Mount Sterling Farmers Market began in 2017 as a grassroots effort led by community members with the goal of promoting local food access, small businesses, and community gathering-laying the foundation for the market we know today.

The Friends of Argyle Lake State Park will be hosting a ‘Arts in Nature’ painting class at Argyle Lake State Park at the park’s visitor center shelter.
West Prairie high school Art instructor, Jennifer Cordell will share her passion for painting while instructing participants in creating a nature painting.
The program fee is $20, as all materials and supplies will be provided. Locally handcrafted Amish frames will be available for $15 if you'd like to frame your one- of-a-kind masterpiece afterwards.

Farwell House Presents: Maker's Picnic
Grab a lawn chair and your maker friends and join us for a picnic at Farwell House. If you're a visual artist, musician, writer, etc. and are interested in hanging out/getting to know other individuals who are passionate about the same things, this is the event for you! It will be an evening of live music, lawn games, great food, and great conversation!
We will be providing homemade focaccia sandwiches (vegetarian option available) and non-alcoholic drinks. If you're able, bring a side dish to share, a lawn chair, and any other beverages you'd like.
This program is partially supported by a grant from the Illinois Arts Council Agency and local funds from the Two Rivers Arts Council.
