Grab your friends, get creative, and get ready to sip, taste, shop, and stroll through Downtown Burlington during Sip, Taste & Stroll on Friday, September 18, from 5:00 to 8:00 PM. This popular Downtown Partners, Inc. event invites participants to explore downtown businesses while enjoying samples, special stops, shopping, and a fun evening out in the heart of Burlington. This year’s theme is “Anything but a Cup!” Participants are encouraged to have a little fun and bring their creativity, but an official event cup will still be provided at check-in for sampling throughout the evening. Participating businesses throughout Downtown Burlington will welcome attendees with samples and special experiences as guests make their way from stop to stop. The event provides a unique opportunity to discover new businesses, revisit favorite downtown destinations, and enjoy everything the district has to offer.
Tickets are $20 in advance through September 1. Participants may begin checking in at 4:30 PM, where they will receive their event cup and map to guide them through the evening.

Acclaimed singer-songwriter Jeni Grouws will bring her powerful blend of blues, soul, and roots rock to Ca d’Zan House Concerts in Cambridge on Friday, September 18. Presented by Crossroads Cultural Connections, the all-ages concert will begin at 7 p.m., following an optional community potluck dinner at 6 p.m. Bishop Hill Creative Commons will serve as the rain location.
Known for her commanding vocals, heartfelt songwriting, and magnetic stage presence, Grouws has spent nearly a decade fronting the Billboard-charting Avey Grouws Band. She is now entering an exciting new chapter with the Jeni Grouws Band and the release of her debut solo album, Music House, on September 4—just two weeks before her Cambridge appearance.
Guests are invited to arrive at 6 p.m. for the optional potluck dinner and may bring a dish to share. The concert will begin at 7 p.m. Attendees should bring lawn chairs or blankets for seating. A donation of $20 to $30 is suggested, and music lovers of all ages are welcome.
In the event of rain, the concert will move to Bishop Hill Creative Commons.

The Farmer’s Market is a true grower’s market. Products that are allowed for sale are directly grown, baked, or produced by the person who is setting up at the market. The market generally features for purchase fresh vegetables and fruits, meat, baked goods, flowers and plants, pumpkins, gourds, and more! Visitors can also enjoy live music on select Saturdays and free coffee at every market!
The Macomb Farmers Market is dedicated to providing an opportunity for local farmers, food producers, artisans, and crafters to sell directly to the consumer in a venue that builds community and supports the development of entrepreneurs.
All your favorite vendors will be there selling produce, plants, baked goods, clothes, and many more. Stop by to check all these amazing products! Market starts at 8 am and ends at 1 pm at Washington Park!
