Steve Fossen and Michael Derosier, the original bassist and drummer for the band Heart during the 1970s and early 1980s, are now touring as Heart By Heart. "Our mission is to perform the classic Heart music as faithfully as we can," Fossen says. The band features vocalist Somar Macek, guitarist /keyboardist/vocalist Lizzy Daymont, and guitarist Chad Quist. Heart By Heart presents a powerful, dynamic show that includes all the favorite Heart hits as well as deep album cuts that fans will love.

Fossen and Derosier are the powerful driving engine behind Heart's classic hits like “Barracuda”, “Straight On”, “Crazy On You”, “Magic Man”, “Even It Up”, “Dog & Butterfly”, “Heartless”, “Kick It Out”, and more. First formed by Steve Fossen in 1969, Heart went on to release six top-10 albums and landed 20 hit singles on the Billboard top 40 chart.

The World Premiere of Endymion - Cantata by James West will be held on February 21, 2026, in the Dahl Chapel & Auditorium at Monmouth College, Monmouth, Illinois. The cantata is written for choir, orchestra, piano, and soprano solo.

Alex Reymundo’s, one of the Original Latin Kings of Comedy, has a style that appeals to all demographics. Three words describe him best … FUNNY as HELL. Alex Reymundo and Ron White own & operate Number JUAN Tequila, a small-batch, handcrafted, award-winning Tequila. Alex’s exposure to LIVE standup began in Arlington, TX in 1988. Reymundo proudly boasts about serving Ron White Tequila & a Budweiser right before he hit the stage on Tatersalad’s amateur comedy debut. The two Texas comics emerged & traveled the nation together for the first few years of their early careers.

Western Illinois University Theatre and Dance has announced its 2026-27 season, featuring a lineup of classic theatre, contemporary musical theatre, original dance works, and a showcase highlighting the talents of WIU students and faculty. The 2026-27 season will take place in the new Goldfarb Center for Performing Arts, with performances in the Clow Theatre and Hainline Theatre, in Brown Hall.

THE THANKSGIVING PLAY is a fast-paced comedy in which four enthusiastic (and wildly underprepared) theater artists try to create a “respectful” Thanksgiving play, only to hilariously reveal their own misunderstandings and blind spots along the way. With sharp wit and playful satire, the play pokes fun at good intentions gone wrong and the stories we tell ourselves about history.
