Voters in Fort Madison and Keokuk elected new mayors during Tuesday’s balloting. Current Fort Madison Mayor Matt Mohrfeld and current Keokuk Mayor Kathie Mahoney each did not seek another term.
In Burlington, Mayor Jon Billups was reelected to the city council. The Burlington council chooses the mayor from among its members.
Voters also elected school board members on Tuesday.
