Macomb police said three more people face charges for making methamphetamine in the Macomb area.
Those arrested Monday are Kurt Kipling, 46, of 1224 South Johnson Street in Macomb; Steven Cobb, 52, of 1024 East Wheeler Street in Macomb; and Randi Rouse, 41, of 1024 East Wheeler Street in Macomb.
The department said it conducted a three week investigation along with the McDonough County Sheriff’s Department, the Bushnell Police Department, and the Office of Public Safety at Western Illinois University.

Macomb Police Deputy Chief Eric Lenardt said an active meth lab was found at the home on East Wheeler Street. It included an anhydrous ammonia tank. Lenardt said he had not seen an anhydrous lab for a long time – most meth is now manufactured in small containers.
The Illinois State Police Methamphetamine Response Team was called in to help clean up the lab.

Police said other items seized from the homes include finished meth, meth making materials, meth making waste, and several firearms.
