The Bishop Hill Heritage Association is pleased to announce that an ABBA tribute band will beperforming at 1 p.m. in the village park in Bishop Hill IL on Saturday July 12, 2025 for free.Please bring lawn chairs and enjoy this Las Vegas type show! Fronted by a dynamic Agnetha and Frida duo, the music of the greatestpop band in history comes to life in a joyful celebration of these timeless tunes. “DANCINGQUEEN: An ABBA Salute” is the Midwest’s longtime #1 ABBA tribute, with a repertoire ofover 30 all-time favorite hits. In addition to the two-hour concert, local organizations will be offering food and drinks. TheBishop Hill Old Settlers’ Association will have a food stand, located next to the Colony Store.Also, the Bishop Hill Methodist Church will also be having a bake sale next to the SteepleBuilding Museum. Uncle Bud’s Apple Cider Slush will be located between the Prairie ArtsCenter and the Post Office on Christina Street, across from the park. Finally, do not forget thatBishop Hill has three restaurants and a bakery for your eating pleasure.
Hickory Ridge Concerts welcomes Paducah Kentucky singer-songwriter Daniel Neihoff to the stage on Saturday, July the 12th, 2025 at the historic Ellisville Opera House in Ellisville, IL. Known for his smooth and soulful sound and his storytelling style songs and compelling melodies, Neihoff’s accolades include winning the Kerrville New Folk Competition in 2019, being a 3-time finalist of Songwriter Serenade, placing 3rd in the Woody Guthrie songwriter contest.
The Hickory Ridge Concert Series is hosted by singer-songwriter Chris Vallillo. Concerts are usually (but not always) held on the 3rd Saturday of the month and begin at 7:00 p.m. with the doors opening at 6:00 p.m. The Ellisville Opera House is a second story venue however they do now have an elevator and is air conditioned. Coffee, drinks, and a variety of desserts are available during intermission. There is an admission charge of $10.00 per adults with children under 12 free. Hickory Ridge Concerts is supported in part by WIUM 91.3 FM, your source for NPR programming, local news and a variety of music, the Two Rivers Arts Council, and the Doris and Ken Kolb Foundation.

Join thousands of your neighbors for Southeast Iowa’s most spectacular summer tradition on Saturday, July 12th at 8:00 PM when the Southeast Iowa Symphony Orchestra presents their Symphonic Blast concert under the direction of Musical Director Robert McConnell. J&M Displays will be providing the fireworks. The concert will take place at the bandshell in Crapo Park in Burlington.

Grab your lawn chairs and join us on the lawn for another great night of FREE live music at Wiley Park! Galva Arts Council is excited to welcome Kiran Ahluwalia and Amanda Fish to the area this Sunday, June 22nd as part of the 2025 Levitt AMP Galva Music Series.
Every Sunday through August 3rd, this family-friendly concert series will bring FREE live music to Wiley Park in Galva, Illinois. All concerts begin at 6:00 PM, end around 8:30 PM, and feature two acts per night. Guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets for comfortable lawn seating. A variety of food and non-food vendors will be on-site, and guests are also welcome to bring in outside food.
Street parking is available around the park and surrounding areas. Please do not park in the park.
New this year, handicap-accessible seating is located in the northwest corner of the park, with a designated unloading zone and golf cart shuttle service available for assistance.
Those with golf carts/UTVs are asked to keep their vehicles on the perimeter of the audience to prevent blocking the view of guests and minimize the risk of accident while driving through the park.
