The Keokuk Concert Association is hosting a concert, "Jared Freiburg and the Vagabonds", celebrating the early years of rock & roll with songs from Elvis to Sinatra to Jerry Lee Lewis on Sunday, May 11th at 4:00 PM. The concert will be held at the Keokuk Grand Theatre.
Admission options include a Keokuk season ticket, or a $25 at the door cost for adults. Kids and students are free.

Lift weights and feel great! This hour-long, video-led program is designed for older adults or anyone looking for a gentle exercise routine. Weights and bands are available. In Feb & March, class will only be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Open Mic Nights are back at Sullivan Taylor. Anyone with musical talent is welcome to preform Tuesday nights from 5-8pm at SulTay! Not preforming? That’s okay! Anyone is welcome to stop by and check out some music, do some homework, hang out with friends, or just grab a late night treat! Our monthly lab is the perfect opportunity for young artists who want to explore the world of ceramics! This program offers makers the chance to create monthly projects or to simply follow their own creative inspiration through clay. Across the sessions, we’ll explore a range of hand building techniques, exciting surface design processes, wheel throwing opportunities, and hands-on glazing to create amazing projects.Our focus throughout the winter/spring labs will emphasize personal creativity, collaborating with nature, working in a series, and an introduction to alternative surface techniques. Come join us and make lasting memories and enjoy hands-on experiences in clay!
Session fee includes clay, glazes, use of tools and brushes, bisque and glaze kiln firings. Students are encouraged to return to the studio to glaze their work. Pre-registration is required and spaces are limited. Please register no later than the day before each session. The Annual Youth Fishing Derby is a free event for families from the Galesburg area! It is an excellent chance for children to be exposed to outdoors person skills, the need for conservation, and a fun way to spend the day. A representative from the IDNR may be present to discuss local aquatic wildlife with participants. Hundreds of prizes will be given away for the first fish catchers. Bring your own pole or borrow a loaner from the Youth Fishing Derby volunteers. Can’t fish? Plenty of local fisherpeople are available to help your child learn!
Held rain or shine 1-3pm or until prizes run out!600 goodie bags and prizes available to give away!
Hy-Vee will be grilling out with a low cost hot dog meal, so come early to grab lunch.Mobile Playground Truck will be there as well, with toys and games for all ages.
