Knoxville, IL – Historic Walnut Grove Farm invites the community to its Spring Open House on Sunday, April 19 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, offering a unique opportunity for guests to connect with local event professionals while enjoying a day of entertainment, food, inspiration and farm tours. The Open House will feature over 15 local vendors specializing in event planning services, making it a convenient, one-stop destination for individuals planning weddings, graduations, anniversaries, and other special occasions. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet experts in catering, rentals, formal wear, florals, beauty services, travel, invitations, and entertainment - in one location!
To add to the experience, guests can enjoy a full lineup of live entertainment throughout the day. The event will be emceed by Fyr Doc, with music provided by DJ Joan Wright from 10:00–11:00 AM, followed by a performance by singer and guitarist Thomas G from 11:30 AM–12:30 PM. The Taproot Wranglers will close out the event from 1:00–2:00 PM. Dance demonstrations by Jon Young of Young’s Dance Studio will take place at 11:15 AM and 12:45 PM.
As a special incentive, the first 50 registered attendees will receive a curated swag bag from Ducky’s Formal Wear of Galesburg.
With more than 30 years of hosting events, Historic Walnut Grove Farm has welcomed thousands of guests for weddings, private celebrations, and community gatherings.
