Come and spend a few hours outdoors helping the Friends of Argyle and park staff remove nonnative plants from the woods at Argyle. Litter collecting is an option for younger volunteers. Tools and gloves will be provided or bring your own. Meet at the park visitor center for supplies. The BOOGIE WONDERLAND has fallen on tough times. It’ll take all the club regulars, and their love of music, and dance to help the owner find ways to breathe life back into formerly the hottest discotheque in town before a greedy developer shows up with a wrecking ball.
Follow a host of on-stage antics and come get down to all your disco favorites as our story unfolds. Your heart and soul will be carried away by the music and your feet will lose control. Many business deals have been struck on the links of the Sheaffer Memorial Golf Course. While we’re unsure how many of those have occurred during the Jack Morris Florida of Iowa Golf Outing, we’re proud to host this signature event that encourages networking and a whole lot of fun! Shotgun start is at 10 am with lunch and prize awards to end the day.
The Office of Downtown Development is pleased to announce that Park N’ Cruise is back for the 22nd season of classic cars, local music, food by the Knights of Columbus, and big fun in Chandler Park.
The Park N’ Cruise season is kicking off on Friday, May 2, 2025, with entertainment by M&S Light and Sound from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Every month through September, Park N’ Cruise will bring family-friendly entertainment to Historic Downtown Macomb. Again, on Friday, May 3, M&S Light and Sound will be bringing the tunes.
On Friday, June 6, enjoy the Unforgettables for your listening pleasure.
Friday, July 4, Bluzillion will roll into downtown.
Saturday, August 2, On Stage Band will be bringing their great music.
For the final event, Eternity Road will be bringing the season to its end on Friday, September 5, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in Chandler Park.
