Engine and Caboose Preschool ProgramTuesdays and Wednesdays from 10:30 to 11:30Book will be read at 10:30am.Engine and Caboose is a weekly preschool program for children ages 2 to 5 years old. It promotes early literacy, fine motor and math skills. FREE with paid admission.
Beardstown Main Street Farmers Market and Arts In The Park every Tuesday (June 1 and October 15) between 3 and 6 PM. Fresh home grown produce and products(grown or produced in Illinois) from Illinois Growers as well as arts and crafts produced by local artisans.
Downtown on the Rushville SquareVendor spaces are offered on a first come basis. The market begins on the West side of the square and spreads around the other sides as needed. Vendors may also set up in the grass but staking is not allowed, please use weights to hold your canopy.
Our Farmers Market takes place March – October every Friday from 7am-12pm and Tuesday from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. We also have a special Third Saturday Market. This market takes place on the third Saturday of every month from 7am-12pm.

Toddlers Plus TuesdayThis program is for toddlers plus their families and is offered after hours. This program is in collaboration with ROE #33 educators. Special developmental activities will be available each month. Reduced admission rate is $6.50. Members are free.

GCC Fall Season begins with our first night of rehearsals. We will be doing two concerts for this semester, one on Saturday, October 25th at 7:30 pm and the other on Saturday, November 15th at 7:30 pm. We will be hosting a community choral event, "A Festival of Voices" and performing "An American Tapestry", a collection of works inspired by American poets and composers, including Randall Thompson's "Frostiana" and Alex Berko's "Sacred Place". No auditions are necessary, just a love of singing! Fees for the semester are $15, students are free.

On Sept. 17, the Office of Student Well-Being will host a campus-wide wellness fair from 4-7 p.m. that will focus on bringing together campus and community resources to support students in all things wellness.
"The Wellness Fair will showcase resources and activities that support the health and well-being of our students," said Megan McGruder, Monmouth's director of student well-being. "It will also include interactive activities, free giveaways, chances to win prizes and more - all while our students learn how to thrive as a Scot."
